MARSHFIELD — Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Marshfield has announced a series of open houses entitled, “More Than A House” to mark its 40th anniversary.

These open houses will provide a unique opportunity for the public to engage with RMHC and learn about the extraordinary impact the charity has had on families with hospitalized children over the past four decades. The events will take place at the Ronald McDonald House, located at 803 W. North St., Marshfield.

As a testament to the support and love that RMHC of Marshfield has provided to families facing medical challenges, three separate open houses will be held, each targeting a specific audience.

The first open house, the “Family Reunion,” will take place on Sunday, July 23 from 1 – 4 p.m. This event is exclusively dedicated to past RMH Alumni Families who have stayed at the House within the past 40 years.

On Monday, July 24 from 3 – 6 p.m., an open house will be held for valued donors, volunteers (past and present) and community members. This event will honor and express gratitude to the generous individuals and organizations that have supported RMHC of Marshfield over the years. It is a chance for the community to witness firsthand the impact of Ronald McDonald House on families in need.

The third open house will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 3 – 6 p.m. and will specifically welcome medical partners from Marshfield Children’s, Marshfield Clinic Health System and other local healthcare facilities. RMHC of Marshfield values the collaboration and partnership with healthcare providers and wants to extend its appreciation to those who work to ensure the well-being of children and families.

At all open houses, guests will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the Ronald McDonald House, discover the vital services provided to families, and gain insights into the organization’s current needs and vision for the future. Additionally, there will be appetizers, various photo opportunities and more.
