Marshfield Utilities hosts second annual holiday lights contest

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Utilities’ second annual holiday lights contest will run through Dec. 8.
“The goal of the contest is to light up the community and spread holiday cheer,” an MU release stated.
“The contest is open to all MU customers, including residential and business customers. New this year, a map will be generated highlighting all of the participants in the contest. This will allow people to do a driving tour and to see the spectacular displays in person.
“MU also uses this event as a way to give back to the community. For every entry in the contest, MU will donate $10 toward local charities up to $500. The donation will be split between Rotary Winter Wonderland, which benefits area food pantries, and the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter.
Entries for the contest will be accepted through Dec. 8 and should be submitted at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MUholidaylights.
