MARSHFIELD – Beginning July 13, chip sealing will occur on various streets in Marshfield.

Chip seal is a two-step process which includes the application of asphalt emulsion and a layer of crushed rock to an existing asphalt pavement surface. Chip seal gets its name from the “chips” or small crushed rock placed on the surface.

Streets included in the temporary lane restrictions will be: North – St. Joseph to Wood; State – 4th to Adler ; Sixth – Oak to Columbus; 26th – Central to Wittman; Carmen – Waushara to Upham; Hume – McMillan to north end; Wildflower cul-de-sac; 11th – Central to Oak; Hardacre – fifth to sixth; 28th – Felker to Washington; Debra – Carmen to Hume; Renee – Debra to Upham.

This work will be done by Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, of Plover, and will last approximately one week.
