Greenwood wins big over Gilman

MARSHFIELD – The Greenwood boys basketball won big on Jan. 21 after playing a Cloverbelt conference game against Gilman at home.
Greenwood led the Gilman Pirates 50-21 at the half and continued to dominate the game winning, 87-45.
Weston Schmitz hit four 3-pointers for Greenwood and was high scorer with 38 points. Cooper Bredlau added 16 points and Treyton Thomas had 10.
Greenwood’s record improved to 7-5 overall and sat third in the conference, with a 6-2 record.
Greenwood will have a short break until they host Loyal on Jan. 30 for a 7:15 p.m. conference game.
