MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield and Marshfield Utilities will begin a sewer and a water rehabilitation project on North Central Avenue at the intersection of Cleveland Street on April 15.

During completion of the project, Central Avenue traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The work is expected to last two weeks.

Immediately following the city’s rehabilitation project the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and its contractor will begin their street project between Arnold Street and Harrison Street; this is expected to run May 1 – Aug. 29.

Traffic control for this project will also be restricted to one lane in each direction.

WisDOT will hold a Public Informational Meeting for the project on April 24, 5:30-6:30 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers, 207 W. Sixth Street.

For more information, contact the Marshfield Engineering Division at 715-486-2034
