Ethel C. Weinfurter, 93, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Rembs Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Krueger officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln-Rock Cemetery in the Town of Rock, Wood County and her 5 grandsons and great grandson, Kamren Hill will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home on Thursday.

Ethel was born on November 28, 1925 in Milladore, Wisconsin to Lein and Agnes (Straub) Knebel.

She married Richard C. Weinfurter on June 13, 1944 at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church, Blenker. After their marriage, they farmed for a time until moving to Milwaukee, where they owned a tavern. Ethel enjoyed horse pulling, embroidery, puzzles, and Bingo. She was also a diehard Milwaukee Brewers fan and made it priority to stop whatever she was doing to watch them.
