Marshfield Fire provides three-year-old with special day

MARSHFIELD – Lincoln Schrock is three years old, and he is battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma. Lincoln loves firefighters and all things associated with them.
On May 3, Lincoln had his opportunity to become a firefighter, thanks to the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department.
Through the Love Your Melon Campus Crew Program, a group of students from UW-Oshkosh arranged the special day for Lincoln, as he became a firefighter himself.
Marshfield Fire’s Red Shift gave Lincoln a tour of the department’s equipment, a ride in a fire truck, and presented him with gifts, including customized firefighter gear.
