MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Area Community Foundation established the Anne Adler Community Service Award in 2010. This Award was created to honor Anne Adler and her dedication to the Marshfield Area Community Foundation. Bette Adler passed away in 2016, and the foundation decided to honor both of the Adler sisters for their work, with this award.

The award is given to someone who significantly contributes to the quality of life in the Marshfield area.

The eighth annual Adler award was recently given to Paula Jero, in recognition of her work in the community.

Paula has helped with numerous community projects, including: Nutrition on Weekends, Tax Aides, Leadership Marshfield, Marshfield Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and is a chamber ambassador.

She has served nine years on the Community Foundation’s board of directors and continues to serve on the Scholarships and Grant Committee.  Her day job at United Way helps the community in so many ways.

Past award recipients, include: Roy Covert, 2010; Dennis Boucher, 2011; Don Zais, 2012; John Scheuer, 2013; Jane Wagner, 2014; Dan Umhoefer, 2015; and Al Nystrom, 2017.
