The Marshfield Clinic Urgent Care Department hired Dr. Kevin S. Owens. Owens earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and is a native of Twin Falls, SD.

25 years ago

Warren Miranda, Marshfield, graduated from Holy Name seminary, Madison. He was among those honored at a dinner recognizing minority and Academic Development Services program graduates.

50 years ago

Doug Hafermann was presented the player of the night award by Marshfield Senior High School basketball coach, Frank Stotts. Doug received the award for several steals in his aggressive defensive play in the team’s win over Stevens Point.

75 years ago

The teacher shortage was one of the most troublesome civilian problems created by the war affecting the Marshfield Board of Education. Marshfield resident, Robert Felhofer, was employed by the board to teach drafting at $150 a month, but had plans to enter the armed forces.
