Ten years ago
Heidi Stillman accepted the call to be a teacher in the lower grades department at Trinity Lutheran School. On the staff Stillman joined were Principal Todd Dahlke, Deb Durst, Annette Minor, Deb Moore, and Nathan Schultz.
Twenty-five years ago
An open house was held at Calvary Bible Church. All were invited by Pastor Joe Everett and the congregation to the open house to visit their new, expanded facilities.
Fifty years ago
Nancy Breheim, Dawn Kolstad, JoAnn Snider, and Susan Egland, members of the Wood County 4-H Club, attended the citizenship short course recently held at the National 4-H Club Center in Washington, D.C. The four would appear on WSAU-TV with Congressman Melvin R. Laird.
Seventy-five years ago
The North Wood County War Priced Rationing Board granted certificates for the purchase of two cars. One was issued to William Wochon of Marshfield, a taxi operator, and the second was issued to Morris Warzinik, a food Marshfield salesman.
