MARSHFIELD — Two hundred and forty-five participants and 25 volunteers braved 12-degree temperatures during Main Street Marshfield’s sixth annual Hot Chocolate Run/Walk held Dec. 10.
This year’s event sent runners and walkers down Central Avenue and through the Rotary Winter Wonderland before finishing at the Chestnut Center for a warmup and a cup of hot chocolate.
“While the weather is a huge determent when it comes to participants, we had a great turnout for the frigid temperatures,” said organizer Angie Eloranta.
