Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra to stage holiday concert

STEVENS POINT — The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra (CWSO), under the direction of Dr. Patrick Miles, welcomes Chaise Lounge in a holiday pops program for Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m.
Chaise Lounge, returning to the CWSO stage to infuse a hefty dose of nostalgia into the season, is the combination of five of the Washington D.C. area’s top jazz musicians that plays sparkling arrangements of standards and original tunes and features the soft, luminous vocals of Marilyn Older. The concerts are generously sponsored by Marshfield Clinic, Security Health Plan, and Delta Dental of Wisconsin. Artistic sponsorship is provided by Ministry Health Care.
All performances will be held at the Theater @1800 in the Sentry Insurance Complex, 1800 Northpoint Drive, Stevens Point. Tickets, available through the UW-Stevens Point Box Office, are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $10 for any student with an ID through college plus $2 handling charge on each ticket. Join the guest artists and CWSO musicians following the Sunday concert when Chef Wayne of @1800 will offer a prix fixe, 1960s-inspired, gourmet holiday dinner exclusively for concert attendees.
