Work to begin on West Arlington Street

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will begin an overlay project on West Arlington Street, from South Columbus Avenue to South Lincoln Avenue, the morning of May 31.

The work performed will begin with sanitary sewer main replacement by the Marshfield Street Division, water main replacement by Marshfield Utilities,  and sewer lateral and water service replacement, along with gas main and service replacement by We Energies. 

Once all the underground work is completed, American Asphalt will then be scheduled to lay a new asphalt surface.  It is anticipated to allow four weeks for each contractor to complete their needed work.  
During this process, West Arlington Street, will be closed to through traffic.  All contractors have been notified to maintain access for residents outside of the immediate area they are working. Expect delays at times along with access to driveways temporary closed.  Normal work hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
