Facebook buyer gets demanding

At 4:47 p.m., a town of Biron man reported that he was afraid that a man he recently sold a vehicle to would try to locate him, due to Facebook message threats he had received. The man sold the vehicle to an unknown man and the buyer started threatening the Biron man stating he wanted his money back.

November 12

Reckless driving near stopped bus

At 7:33 a.m., a Marshfield woman called to report that while driving in the township of Cameron she witnessed a vehicle that went around a stopped bus picking up a child. The driver of that vehicle nearly struck a child who was getting on the bus at the time.

November 13

Tinder date nightmare

At 6:15 p.m., an 18-year-old Saratoga woman called to report that after a Tinder date that went bad a few weeks ago, she began receiving unwanted sexual messages from the 23-year-old man. The woman has since blocked the man’s number from her devices and social media.

November 14

Call ahead next time

At 12:03 p.m., a town of Lincoln woman called to report that while her ex was at her residence collecting his things, he tried to start a physical altercation with the caller’s father. He did leave the property and police called the man and advised him if he wanted to come get anything else he needs to call law enforcement for a civil stand by first.

Woman trashes ex’s house

At 10:35 p.m., a 16-year-old Marshfield male called to report that his dad’s ex-girlfriend had just come into their home without permission and trashed the house. He states she left and took off with his dad’s cell phone. Police located the 31-year-old woman at a local establishment and followed her to her home and questioned her.

Road rage reported

At 11:02 p.m., a Nekoosa woman called to report that while driving near Saratoga a car pulled up next to her and continued to drive along with her down the highway. The car eventually backed off and proceeded to tailgate the caller. Police were able to locate the driver and a traffic stop was made.

November 18

Hunters damage private property

At 10:53 a.m., a 61-year-old Grand Rapids man called requesting to speak with an officer regarding damage done on his property, and harassment from hunters over the past few years. He reported someone had broken a sign and a bridge, both of which had already been repaired. He also showed the officer a pair of deer testicles that someone hung on his gate. He also commented that he felt police have not been taking his complaints seriously.
