For the City Times

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will be starting the first phase of an asphalt overlay project on West McMillan Street the week of May 31, which will take approximately four weeks to complete.

The road construction will extend from St. Josephs Avenue to Fig Avenue and the road will be closed to all traffic.

The process will include new concrete panels, curb, and storm structure repairs, before the asphalt overlay.

A detour route for West McMillan Street will be south on Central Avenue to West Upham Street and west on West Upham to St. Josephs Avenue.

Residents living within the road work area are asked to enter the closure from Oak Avenue.

This phase is a section of the $420,000 project, which is a 2021 Capital Improvement Project from the intersections of St. Joseph Avenue to Central Avenue.
