Purse lost while shopping
At 8:28 a.m., a 22-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman reported that she had lost her wallet while shopping at a Marshfield department store on June 5. She believes she left it in the cart and went back to check after she realized she no longer had it on her. She was unable to find the wallet outside in a cart and also checked inside to see if anyone had turned it in with no luck.
Woman reports phone scam
At 10:35 a.m., 71-year-old Marshfield woman called police to report that early that morning she had been scammed into giving personal information, including her social security number and bank account information to an unknown caller claiming to be with the Publisher’s Clearing House Company. She was advised to call the credit bureau and Social Security Administration, as well as her bank, to inform them as well.

Rock thrown through window
At 1:52 p.m., a Marshfield woman reported that very early in the morning someone had thrown a rock at her house. The rock damaged the screen and wood frame around the window.

Friend forgot to return borrowed truck
At 6:30 p.m., a Marshfield man and his father reported that a 23-year-old friend had been allowed to borrow the father’s truck over the weekend of June 2-4. After several attempts to reach the friend and get the truck back, they reported the truck as missing. On the morning of June 9, Spencer Police found the vehicle and the 23-year-old friend was operating it at the time.

Woman behaving badly
At 6:23 p.m., a 39-year-old Marshfield woman and her daughter reported that a woman was standing in the middle of the road acting obnoxious, including raising both her middle fingers toward the minor child. The 60-year-old Marshfield woman had been warned earlier in the day for her behavior and was then taken to the police department for booking,
June 10
Unwanted messages
At 5:51 p.m., a 47-year-old Marshfield woman reported that a 48-year-old Pittsville man has been continuously messaging and calling her. She has asked him to stop several times through text messaging. Police officers made contact with the man and gave him a verbal warning.
June 11
Neighbor trouble
At 9:21 a.m., a 64-year-old Marshfield man called to inform police that his 34-year-old neighbor is continually coming into his unlocked apartment uninvited. He states that she comes in through an unlocked screen door and talks, incoherently, to him and then leaves. She has done this numerous times even though he has asked her repeatedly not to. A police officer also spoke with her and advised her to stop.
