Wausau Newman tops Columbus Catholic in WIAA Division 5 girls basketball regional semifinal

Dons finish season at 13-11

WAUSAU — Marshfield Columbus Catholic's season came to an end Thursday night as it dropped a 49-38 decision to Wausau Newman Catholic in a WIAA Division 5 girls basketball regional semifinal at Newman Catholic High School.

The Dons finish the season with a 13-11 record.

Newman Catholic (20-4) moves on to a regional final at Loyal (20-4) at 7 p.m. Saturday. Loyal whipped Rosholt 63-21 on Thursday.
