MARSHFIELD – A new Marshfield shop is the first of several that Susan and Aws Samara hope to open in Wisconsin.
“The Pharmacy,” which opened at 204 North Central Avenue, Suite 301, Marshfield, on Oct. 1, has been a long time coming, Susan explained.
“We had our eyes on this location for a while, but obviously the business environment has faced so much uncertainty over the last year. This is the first of a few shops we hope to open across central and northern Wisconsin,” she said.
The Samaras are hoping to take advantage of the new Main Street Bounceback Grant offered by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
The Main Street Bounceback Grants program provides $10,000 to new or existing businesses and non-profit organizations moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. Funds can be used to pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location.
“The Pharmacy’s location at 204 N. Central Avenue has been vacant since the start of the pandemic,” Samara added.
The store is a full-service CBD and vape shop, offering “premium lifestyle apparel.”
“Products include both nationally trusted name brands and locally sourced items such as Goat Grass CBD,” Samara added.
“Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the right products for your needs. Whether you want to explore alternatives to pain management or are trying to quit smoking, we have an incredible selection that is new to the area.”
The business is currently celebrating their grand opening. For more information, find them on Facebook.
