Tigers have 13 hits in road victory

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Stratford softball team busted open a tight game with an eight-run top of the seventh and whipped Wisconsin Rapids Assumption 13-6 in Marawood Conference South Division action Tuesday.
Stratford led 5-4 after six innings before the erupting with the eight-run frame that put the game away.
The Tigers are now 14-6 and finish the Marawood South season with a 10-2 record. Stratford wraps up its regular-season schedule Friday with a nonconference game at Edgar.
Kaylee Geiger went 4-for-5, and Brittany Bredemann drove in three runs for Stratford.
Lorrie Luepke earned the win on the mound.
