Spencer volleyball swept at Mosinee

Rockets host Gilman on Thursday

MOSINEE — The Spencer volleyball team was swept in a nonconference match at Mosinee on Tuesday night, losing 25-11, 25-9, 25-22.

Liz Endreas has seven kills, Sadie Mercier had 10 assists, and Jenna Rogers had 25 digs to lead Spencer in each category.

“It was simple,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “They played with way more energy than we did. By the time we got in any kind of rhythm, it was too late.”

Spencer opens its Cloverbelt Conference East Division schedule Thursday at home against Gilman.
