Rock hunters wanted: Credit union hides $400 in prizes around Marshfield

Posted

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union will mark six decades in business with a community scavenger hunt offering $400 in prizes throughout August.

The credit union will hide decorated rocks at public Marshfield locations each Monday, posting clues on its Facebook page. The first person to find each rock and bring it to the credit union's office at 302 W. Upham St. wins a $100 Visa gift card.

"The 'Find the Rock' challenge reflects our commitment to fun, engagement and community connection as we celebrate our milestone anniversary," said Tiffany Schara, the credit union's business development specialist. "We couldn't be more excited to give back to the Marshfield community in a way that's interactive and accessible to all ages."

The credit union was founded in 1965 as a member-owned financial cooperative. It was chartered under Wisconsin state law by employees of St. Joseph's Hospital and operated from hospital office space until 1985, when it moved to its current location.

Contest rules and additional information about the anniversary celebration are available at mmccu.com/rock. The credit union can be reached at 715-387-8686.
