WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wood County Health Department says that 267 people were tested for COVID-19 May8-9 in Wisconsin Rapids.

The department teamed up with the Wisconsin National Guard in offering a two-day drive-through event, where people could get a quick nasal swab.

“Sarah” from Wisconsin Rapids was among those going, presenting with two coronavirus-related symptoms. While she understands the Safer At Home order, she was experiencing a little cabin fever, too.
