Oldham takes part in SURE research project

For City Times
KENOSHA – Kara Oldham from Neillsville is conducting research into Crossroads of Faith: Art, Architecture, and Interreligious Dynamics in “La Convivencia” with faculty mentor Fatih Harpci through Carthage College’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE).
She was one of 32 Carthage students selected for the program, which offers Carthage students in all majors an opportunity to engage in collaborative full-time research with professors. Students work closely with faculty mentors on a new or developing line of research. Many students present their research at the annual Celebration of Scholars event the following spring.
SURE began in mid-1990s in the natural sciences and grew to include all academic divisions at Carthage.
