MARSHFIELD — As part of a charitable giving partnership between La-Z-Boy and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), Mitten’s Home Appliance delivered a new piece of furniture to Marshfield’s Ronald McDonald House Friday, Sept. 23.
Mitten’s has been involved in charitable giving since the Marshfield RMHC home first opened in the early 1980s, when the store donated all of the appliances.
La-Z-Boy is the official furniture provider of RMHC. Marshfield is just one of nearly 200 RMHC homes in North America providing lodging for families whose children are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
“It’s a good partnership between Ronald McDonald House (Charities) and La-Z-Boy, and I’m glad we are a part of it,” said C.W. Mitten IV. “It’s exciting for us to be able to help out in the community.”
