Merkel named to MARCC board

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Area Respite Care Center (MARCC) has named Jessica Merkel to its board of directors.

Merkel, who practices at the law firm of Ruder Ware, counsels elderly clients on the use of irrevocable trusts for asset protection, medical assistance eligibility, and special needs trusts. In addition, she works with clients on estate and trust planning, taxation, powers of attorney, probate, and trust administration.

"Jessica is a Marshfield native who understands and cares about our community and is intimately familiar with the issues faced by seniors because of her eider law practice. We look forward to her leadership on our board," states Marilyn Seidl-Kramer, Director at MARCC.

Currently, MARCC operates out of Faith Lutheran Church at 207 S. Cherry, Marshfield.
