Marshfield Volleyball Invitational set for Tuesday

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Tiger Volleyball Invitational will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse.

Six teams will compete in a round-robin format, playing the best two-of-three sets in each matchup.

Play begins at 3 p.m., with each team competing in five matches.

Antigo, Ashland, Hudson, Merrill and defending WIAA Division 4 state champion Wausau Newman Catholic join Marshfield in the field.

Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Marshfield High School

Round-robin format, begins at 3 p.m.

Round 1: Merrill vs. Wausau Newman Catholic; Hudson vs. Marshfield; Antigo vs. Ashland.

Round 2: Marshfield vs. Merrill; Antigo vs. Hudson; Ashland vs. Wausau Newman Catholic.

Round 3: Ashland vs. Marshfield; Antigo vs. Wausau Newman Catholic; Hudson vs. Merrill.

Round 4: Ashland vs. Hudson; Marshfield vs. Wausau Newman Catholic; Antigo vs. Merrill.

Round 5: Ashland vs. Merrill; Antigo vs. Marshfield; Hudson vs. Wausau Newman Catholic.
