Marshfield seeking input on housing issues

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield’s Housing Committee is seeking input on housing trends and resources available in the city.

Officials are asking various groups, including developers, lenders, employers, realtors and property owners, to share their thoughts via an online survey. The survey is broken into different areas, and officials say they’ll use the information to develop a housing strategy for the city.

The survey’s objectives are to gain a deeper understanding of how the area housing market operates and to provide recommendations for improving its functionality. More specifically, the city said it aims to ensure that the housing market meets the needs of current and prospective residents, particularly for the benefit of employers as they strive to attract and retain talent.
