Rowdy student
On Sept. 18 at 11:19 a.m. an employee of a Marshfield school reported that a student was out of control. The complainant stated that the student was attempting to damage items, kicking chairs, and yelling obscenities at staff. The child’s mother had been contacted and was already at the scene when officers arrived. The mother ultimately was able to convince the student to leave the school and was taken home.
Road children
On Sept. 18 at 6:06 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that there were several elementary aged children who would play in the front yard of a Chestnut Avenue residence. The complainant stated that there have been multiple incidents of the children running into the road without looking, forcing oncoming cars to slam on their brakes. The parents of the residence were contacted and made aware of the situation.

Woman hits childÂ
On Sept. 22 at 9:30 p.m. it was reported by a Marshfield male that a 29-year-old Marshfield female was screaming at a 13-year-old female and causing a disturbance. The man reported that the older woman slapped the juvenile. The woman was taken into custody and transported to the ER for a panic attack.
September 24, 2019
Domestic dispute
On Sept. 24 at 1:18 a.m. a Marshfield female reported that she and her boyfriend, a 34-year-old Marshfield male, were engaged in an argument regarding infidelity and that her the male would not let her leave. During investigation, it was revealed that the male had also thrown multiple objects around the residence during the dispute and that one such object had struck the woman in the head. The man was arrested and taken to the Marshfield Police Department.
