Social media accusations

On May 18 at 6:32 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that a group of 53-year-old Marshfield women had posted her private information on social media along with inflammatory comments and accusations. The suspects admitted to doing so and charges are being sought through the Wood County D.A.

Harassment 

On May 18 at 12:30 p.m. an employee of a Marshfield medical center reported that a 27-year-old Friendship female had called the center multiple times in a threatening manner. The female was contacted and advised to cease calling.

May 16, 2020

Female calls cops on herself

On May 16 at 1:47 a.m. a Marshfield female called 911 to report an incident involving a vehicle on East Heritage Drive. Upon investigation, police discovered that the caller had been the cause of the disturbance and that she had also been involved in a domestic related issue earlier that night. The woman was arrested and taken to Wood County Jail.

Possible house fire

On May 14 at 1:06 p.m. a Marshfield female reported seeing and smelling smoke coming from a Monique Lane residence that she believed was unoccupied. The female also reported hearing smoke alarms going off. Upon arrival of Marshfield Fire and Rescue personnel, a pan with burnt material was discovered on a stove with the burner still going. While investigating, the resident returned home and stated he had left at around 10:30 a.m. that day and had left some lentils in the pan with the burner on by mistake.

May 14, 2020

Pepper Spray Attack

On May 14 at 11:46 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that two unfamiliar females had approached his vehicle while he was parked in the parking lot of a Marshfield grocery store. The females then proceeded to spray pepper spray at him and strike him in the face. The suspects fled prior to arrival of the police and were located shortly after. Both females were identified and the pepper spray was recovered.
