WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Olivia Tierney won the floor exercise and was third in the all-around to help the Marshfield gymnastics team to a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational on Saturday at Lincoln High School.
Tierney won the floor with a score of 9.35, was second in the balance beam (8.925), and took fourth in the vault (8.85) to finish with an all-around score of 34.375 for the Tigers.
Mukwonago-Kettle Moraine’s Elise Rice won the all-around title with a score of 35.925, and M-KM won the team title with 139.675 points. Marshfield had 124.975.
Marshfield took the eighth through 11th place spots in the all-around. Megan Smith (30.275), Emma Boson (29.775), Macey Smith (29.625), and Isabelle Jensen (29.0) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.
Marshfield hosts Baraboo on Thursday.
