Four Tigers score TDs in home win

MARSHFIELD — Four different Marshfield players scored touchdowns as the Tigers freshman football team beat Wausau West 27-6 on Thursday at Marshfield High School.

Simon Baity had a 30-yard touchdown run, Noah Seehafer and Brad Dickinson had 1-yard TD runs, and Sam Hinson threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Meverden for Marshfield’s scoring plays. Austin Kuhlka had three extra point kicks.

Joey Goettl intercepted two West passes, and Emmett Meissner, Tyler Wein, and A.J. Trierweiler led Marshfield (3-1) in tackles.

The Tigers will play Stevens Point at Goerke Field next Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
