NEENAH — The Marshfield football team suffered its second-straight loss as it fell 17-7 to Neenah in a Valley Football Association South Division game Friday night at Rocket Stadium.

The Tigers, who were shut out last week at D.C. Everest, fall to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the VFA South.

Austin Belot had touchdown runs of 7 and 50 yards in the first quarter to provide the Rockets (2-1, 1-1 VFA South) with more than enough points.

Marshfield would end its seven-quarter scoreless drought when Brant Bohman scored on a 6-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Braden Bohman had 105 yards rushing to lead the Tigers’ offense.

Marshfield committed three turnovers, two on interceptions, and was held to 56 yards passing.

The Tigers will host Oshkosh West (1-2, 1-1 VFA South) on Sept. 9 at Beell Stadium. The game will begin at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.
