Marshfield Area Human Resource Association to host Tim Casey

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Area Human Resource Association (MAHRA) will host guest speaker Tim Casey, vice president of implementations at Skyward, and certified emotional intelligence trainer, on Sept. 15.

MAHRA, a workforce initiative through the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce, provides a network for business and industry professionals to share human resources and other current topics of mutual concern locally or nationwide, network with other human resource professionals, stay abreast of community resources, and acquire professional development.

Casey will discuss how understanding your emotions and the emotions of those around you can “help you become a more effective communicator and help you achieve stronger relationships.”

This interactive discussion is entitled “Icebergs: How to Focus Below the Surface in a Pandemic” and will be held at Hotel Marshfield, 8-10 a.m.

Casey will also focus on key attributes of what makes a great leader as well as building your own leadership persona.
