MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) will host its annual Paws & Pancakes Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 2, 8-11:30 a.m. at Hotel Marshfield, 2700 S. Central Ave., Marshfield.
Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and there will be plenty of ways to support local animals, including over 30 raffle baskets, 50/50 raffles, MAPS apparel for sale and a photo booth.
“Our goal is to raise $20,000 at this event,” said MAPS Executive Director Karen Rau. “With the rising costs of medical supplies, veterinary care, and utilities, it’s more important than ever for the community to come together and support our animals. We’ve experienced a significant increase in animal intakes this year, and without the continued support of our community, our lifesaving work wouldn’t be possible.”
Proceeds from the breakfast will go toward the daily care of approximately 700 animals each year at MAPS, 3500 Downwind Dr., Marshfield.
