Main Street hosts 31st annual Downtown Awards Bash

MARSHFIELD – Main Street Marshfield recently held its 31st annual Downtown Awards Bash on Jan. 31.

The virtual event was used to welcome seven new businesses to the Main Street Marshfield district. They are B Transformed Massage, Bevy Beauty Company, Good Day Sunshine Record Shop, Heart’s Ease Skin Spa, Holistic Empowerment Natural Health Consulting, The Boardroom and The Modern Collective.

A number of businesses were recognized for achieving milestone anniversaries in 2021. Six businesses were recognized for celebrating their first anniversaries downtown. They are Aspirus, Bleu Plate Deli & Market, Discovery Education Station, Elite Massage, Golden Lamb Skin Studio Health Spa and My Happy Place Alternative & Holistic Health. Circle The Date was recognized for celebrating its tenth anniversary, while 20th anniversary recognition went to O’Brien Insurance, Royal Tokyo and Wisconsin Ag Connection, which now operates under USAgNet.

Fairway Mortgage, Plan-It Earth Health Center and Redeemer Church were recognized for their 25th anniversaries.

Crabby Dave’s Restaurant & Lounge was honored for its 30th anniversary, and Nutz Deep II was honored for 40 years in business. The Baltus Oil Company was recognized for its 100th year in business.

Main Street also used the occasion to hand out its annual awards. The 2021 Partnership of the Year award was presented to the Golden Glow 4-H Club, for its ongoing Holiday Parade float preparation efforts. The Spirit of Giving Award went to Marshfield Insurance.

Brian Hopperdietzel of Marshfield Monument was honored as the 2021 Main Street Volunteer of the Year. Main Street Board Member of the Year honors went to Brad Remmen.

The Commitment to Design Award went to Endless Designs.

Mojo’s Pasta House & Cajun Cook Shack was honored with Main Street’s annual Commitment to Hospitality award.

Andrew Davenport of Sherwin Williams was recognized as the 2021 Downtown Employee of the Year.

The Best Business Interior Renovation award went to The Boardroom and owner Patty Hasenbank.

Marshfield became a Wisconsin Main Street community in 1990.
