Main Street continues holiday tradition with 14th annual ballet

MARSHFIELD — Main Street Conservatory of Dance will present its production of “The Nutcracker” on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Marshfield High School Auditorium.

“The Nutcracker” tells the story of a young girl named Clara who is given a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. She encounters the frightful mouse queen before embarking on a journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets.

Tickets cost $10 in advance and are available at Main Street Conservatory of Dance, 1008 S. Cedar Ave., or by calling 715-384-8584. Tickets will also be available at the door 30 minutes prior to each performance.
