Gilman downs Columbus Catholic volleyball

GILMAN – Gilman grabbed its first Cloverbelt Conference East Division victory of the season, downing Marshfield Columbus Catholic 3-1.

The Dons lost 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 25-17. Both teams end up 1-6 in the Cloverbelt East.

Kendra Baierl had 13 kills, Sierra Litwatis and Abby Baierl each had 28 digs, and Jennifer Reigel and Bailey Neider each had 14 assists for the Dons.

Columbus Catholic will play at the Lakeland Invitational on Saturday.
