Gerald L. Lyrenmann

Gerald L. Lyrenmann, 94, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his home in the Town of Cary under the care of Compassus Hospice.

In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, a private committal service will be held by family.

Gerald was born on December 30, 1931, in West Allis, Wisconsin. He attended grade school at Walter Allen and high school at South Division. On June 28, 1956, he married Leona Korger.

Sadly, she passed away on July 4, 1984. On October 3, 1987, he married Judy Lingford. Gerald was employed at various locations in Milwaukee including Allen Bradley as an electrical inspector. He retired from maintenance at Land O Lakes in Spencer in February 1996.

He enjoyed shoveling sand while making trails in the woods surrounding his home, wood working, hunting, fishing, camping, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family and his canine companion, Sassy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his children: Craig (Betty) Lyrenmann of Muskego, Sheila Lyrenmann of Tomah, Anita Lyrenmann of Marshfield, Janet (Chuck) Felton of Wisconsin Rapids, Lori (Tracy) Tadysak of Milwaukee, Alan Lyrenmann of Marshfield, and Roger (Susanne) Lyrenmann of Crofton, MD; his son-in-law, William Bermudez of Brandon, FL; his step-children: Alfredo Hernandez of Marshfield, Allen Hernandez of Wausau, Anita Hernandez of Marshfield, and Jennifer Hernandez of Stevens Point; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and his faithful canine companion, Sassy.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Leona; daughter, Julie Bermudez; brother, Don Lyrenmann; sister, Delores (Kenneth) Engel and many beloved canine companions.
