MARSHFIELD – Former Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield Executive Director Iilee Pederson, 39, is facing 11 charges — nine felonies and two misdemeanors — in Wood County Court.
According to a criminal complaint, while employed with the charity, Pederson stole about $120,000 between 2022 and 2024 by withdrawing money from the Ronald McDonald House checking account and placing the money into a personal PayPal account.
She resigned from the charity in June.
Pederson is charged with one count of felony money laundering, five counts of felony fraudulent writings by a corporate officer, three felony counts and two misdemeanors of theft in a business setting.
The organization has been able to recoup $100,000 of the funds through its insurance provider.
Pederson is expected to make her initial appearance in Wood County Court on Oct. 27.
