MARSHFIELD — Complex dynamics, especially concerning family members enlisting or returning from active military duty, often cause unique and unexpected communication and stress challenges for families, friends, colleagues, or communities in general. Marshfield Clinic, with support from Mike’s Run in Marshfield, will host the 2017 Behavioral Health Community Conference to help participants understand these complexities and be better able to address them.

Kimberly Kick, owner/co-founder of the Military Family Division of Divorce Communications in Libertyville, Illinois, will present “Combating Communication & Stress Challenges: Helping families be happier and healthier!”

The program will be held Thursday, April 20, in the Melvin R. Laird Center for Medical Research, Marshfield Clinic, 1000 N. Oak Ave. in Marshfield. Registration and refreshments begin at 6 p.m., and the program runs from 6:30-8 p.m. Participants will be able to ask questions following the program.

There is no cost to attend. Preregistration is required as seating is limited. Call 715-387-9081 to register. The registration deadline is April 9.
