MARSHFIELD – Chicago blues guitarist Shaun Hague will highlight the career of English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter Eric Clapton at Marshfield’s Columbia Park on Saturday, July 29.
Clapton is a three time inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is known for songs such as: “Layla,” “Wonderful Tonight,” and “Tears in Heaven.”
Hague, a Massachusetts native who began a successful music career at an early age, credits Clapton as his biggest musical influence as a blues guitarist.
At the age of 17, Hague was named “The Best Young Blues Guitarist” by The House of Blues. He has performed with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Waite, Amos Lee, Terra Naomi, and John Fogerty.
Hague, along with his band, will highlight Clapton’s career in Journeyman – A Tribute to Eric Clapton.
