MARSHFIELD – Community members are invited to audition for UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield’s production of “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” under the direction of Brad Schmicker. Auditions will be held Sept. 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m., or Sept. 11, 4-6 p.m. in the Helen Connor Laird Theatre at the Marshfield campus.

“Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” is a long-running Chicago sensation featuring 30 plays in 60 minutes. The material includes a range of comic bits and conceits, which will be performed in any order individual audiences determine. The interaction with the audience guarantees unpredictable spontaneity and fun.

All levels of experience are welcome to audition. Please come prepared with a joke or funny story to tell, and expect to participate in a group improvisation and a short reading from the script.

Campus Community Players will be performing “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” Nov. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
