Alysha Bauer chosen Fairest of the Fair

MARSHFIELD — Alysha Bauer was named Fairest of the Fair for the 2017 Central Wisconsin State Fair in a reception and coronation held May 31 at the Marshfield Eagles Club.

Bauer is a student at Marshfield High School, where she will be a senior in the fall. She is the current president of the Marshfield Future Farmers of America (FFA), an ambassador for the Marshfield Area Girl Scouts, and a member of the McMillan Mavericks 4-H.

Bauer’s life goals include becoming an agriculture teacher, FFA advisor, and 4-H leader to help promote the farming industry.

Madison Vinter, a graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and currently attending UW-River Falls, was the runner-up for the Fairest of the Fair.

Also crowned in the May 31 coronation was Jenna Snortheim of Auburndale, who was named Junior Fairest of the Fair, and MyKayla Gerretsen, from Marshfield High School, was the runner-up to Snortheim.
