A Medieval Knight!

Students in Ms. Zickert’s 7th grade geography class hosted a fun event as a side show to the high school’s annual academic and career planning night. Students were tasked with learning about culture in medieval Europe for the month of January, each student was assigned a ‘job’ that they would display in the auditorium on ACP night. Students baked homemade bread, pies, set up puppet shows, and even hosted a tutorial on goose hunting, medieval style! Guests paid a five dollar entry fee which got them five shillings, the schillings could be traded for baked goods, or games within the auditorium. It was a fun night and a very successful first attempt at what will become an annual tradition for the 7th grade geographers.
