ALGOMA — Representatives of the 2018 Farm Technology Days committees traveled to Kewaunee County on July 11 to attend the 2017 Farm Technology Days, promote next year’s event, and talk with this year’s hosts and organizers.

The 2017 event was hosted by Ebert Enterprises in Algoma and began July 11. Opening ceremonies included remarks from Gov. Scott Walker and State Agriculture Secretary Ben Brancel as well as a tribute and butterfly release in memory of the host family’s daughter.

The next Farm Technology Days will be held July 10-12, 2018, just west of Marshfield. Hosts are the Daryl and Brenda Sternweis family and the Ken and Joellen Heiman and Kelvin and Marilyn Heiman families.
