City to begin overlay project on South Adams Avenue
For the City Times
MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield is starting an overlay project on South Adams Avenue. The work will consist of a closure from West Eighth Street to West Arlington Street.
The Arlington Street/Adams intersection will be open to east and west traffic; however, the entire intersection of Eighth/Adams will be closed.
“The work performed will be concrete panel, curb, and storm structure repairs in preparation of an asphalt overlay. Duration of the project, weather dependent, will take around three weeks to complete. During this process South Adams Avenue will be closed to all through traffic and only local traffic will be allowed,” a city release stated.
Residents living on Adams Avenue in the block between Eighth Street and Arlington Street are asked to enter the work zone from Arlington Street to access their property.
