Alliant Energy plans electric service outage

MADISON – A planned electric service outage is scheduled to take place from midnight on June 13, until June 14 at 7 a.m., for about 1,200 Alliant Energy customers just to the east and northeast of the city of Marshfield.
The customers impacted are located north of the village of Auburndale, in the community of Rozellville, and the surrounding area.
The planned outage is needed to replace a damaged transmission pole. All customers affected are being notified by phone. Alliant Energy is reminding customers that if they have changed any phone numbers to call the company at 1-800-255-4268. This will allow Alliant Energy to successfully notify customers with outage information.
