MHS team wins Ocean Sciences Bowl regional

MARSHFIELD — On Saturday, Feb. 4, Marshfield High School competed in and won the Lake Sturgeon Bowl Regional of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, hosted by UW-Milwaukee and the Great Lakes WATER Institute. The team will now travel to Corvallis, Oregon, April 20-23 to compete at the national event hosted by Oregon State University. This year’s theme will be “Blue Energy: Powering the Planet with our Oceans.”
The Marshfield High School team placed in the top three in each of the last six times it went to nationals and was champion four of those times.
