Security Health Plan to open Answer Centers
Move designed to help consumers understand their coverage

MARSHFIELD — As enrollment seasons near for Medicare and the Health Insurance Marketplace, Security Health Plan of Wisconsin Inc. is opening nine Answer Centers where people can get face-to-face answers to their questions about health insurance coverage.
“Insurance can get complicated, especially when you’re trying to decide what’s best for you and what’s best for your family,” said Chris Bruni, director of consumer sales. “At an Answer Center, consumers meet one-on-one with a member of our Security Health Plan sales team and review their options conveniently and confidentially.”
The annual open enrollment for Medicare is Oct. 15 through Dec. 7, and for the Health Insurance Marketplace it is Nov. 1 through Jan. 31, 2016.
Answer Centers will be open throughout the enrollment seasons from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and are located in nine Marshfield Clinic locations:
—Eau Claire: 2116 Craig Road.
—Ladysmith: 906 College Ave. W.
—Marshfield: 1000 N. Oak Ave.
—Minocqua: 9601 Townline Road.
—Park Falls: 50 Sherry Ave.
—Rice Lake: 1700 W. Stout St.
—Stevens Point: 4100 Wisconsin Highway 66.
—Wausau: 2727 Plaza Drive.
—Wisconsin Rapids: 220 24th St. S.
Answer Centers are not just for insurance shoppers, Bruni said. Beginning Oct. 15, customer service representatives will be at the Eau Claire, Marshfield, and Wausau locations available to answer questions about billing, claims, prior authorizations, and plan benefits.
When Answer Centers open Oct. 15, customers can walk in and talk with a Security Health Plan representative or can schedule an appointment by calling 1-844-267-9198.
