Five S/C youth wrestlers reach podium at state

SPENCER — Spencer/Columbus Youth Wrestling sent eleven wrestlers to the WWF Youth State Tournament in Madison March 24-25.
Ember Zupanc went 4-0 and came home as a state champion. Riddick Meyer and Zach Knaack both finished the weekend 3-1, and each brought home second-place trophies. Annelise Spindler wrestled to a 4-2 weekend, which garnered fifth place. Holden Lomax finished with a weekend record of 5-3, and a sixth-place finish.
Other state results include: Beckam Schultz, 4-2; Garrett Bodendorfer, 3-2; Grady Schultz, 2-2; Tucker Lomax, 2-2; Jakob Soback, 2-2; Jackson Manicke, 0-2.
